What We Believe

Here at Aggressive Christianity Missions Training Corps, we hold strongly to many beliefs. Many are unknown or misinterpreted. The following is a brief summary of some of our most important doctrines. If used to quote us, please include the quote in context. Thank you.

Our ministry, sometimes known as ACMTC, Holy Tribal Nation, Free Love Ministries, and Life Force Team is a completely founded on the Bible and the doctrines therein. We are also Biblicists. We believe in Theocratic rule, which means we believe in the divine dictatorship of God Almighty. We subject everything to the Lord and He takes care of us. We are an intentional community of Christians. The ministry was founded in 1981 by General James and General Deborah Green ( General James' nickname is Jim. General Deborah's birth name was Lila, which is why some of our older publications before she got her name changed over 20 years ago say "Lila")

We believe in a military structure, which is partially based off the original pattern of the Salvation Army, commenced by William and Catherine Booth in the mid 1800's. The ministry moved from its starting location in Sacramento, California, and is now settled east of the rural town of Fence Lake, New Mexico. Some of the primary statements about us can also be found on the front link on our website, as well, under "The Aggressive Vision".

Some of our Primary Beliefs

We state in the 1987 "Responsibilities of Command" officer's manual,

We Believe:

In the divine inspiration of the Bible (2nd Tim. 3:16).

That in the One God there are three persons, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost (1 John 5:7).

That Jesus Christ is the Lord God Almighty, Creator of all things (John 1:1-3, 14, 29-34; Rev. 1:5, 6)

In the virgin birth (Luke 1:26-35)

That Jesus Christ died for our sins (Hebrews 9:15, 22, 28).

In the baptism of the Holy Ghost with evidence of speaking tongues (Acts 2:4).

All the supernatural gifts (healing, miracles, deliverance, tongues etc.), and practicing them (1 Cor. 12).

We also believe in prophecy and, of course, community, such as the excerpt from that same 1987 booklet:

“For I speak unto you and I would say unto you that I am raising up a Spirit people, yea, I am raising up those who will hearken to the commands of my Spirit; who will be obedient unto me. And I say unto you that nations shall succumb to my power, for I would speak unto you and I would say that I am the Lord, and I am the God who raises up and who casts down.”

Some of these spiritual beliefs can be found in some of the earliest writings done in 1986 by General James:

(1) His grace is demonstrated that we might be free from captivity, but this freedom is to be used for and unto His ultimate intention.

(2) God always asks that which is impossible to the natural man in order that His people will be dependent upon divine, spiritual resources.

(3) God designs all things to function properly under His control. He is not content to merely set us free, but longs to "turn our capacity"; that is, He longs to bring us back into His captivity.

(4) Man must either submit to God's purpose or become captive to some other law. God's plan will not allow us to live long in liberty apart from law.

(5) God's pattern is not spurts of consecration and dedication, but a consistent walk leading into a continuous unfolding revelation of His plan and purpose.

Many of our publications and website articles have army or battle imagery. However, these are not meant to be taken to mean a physical army, but a spiritual one. The military-style clothing we wear is symbolic of the fact that we're in a spiritual warfare. Three Biblical principles backing this up that we hold to are,

Matthew 10:35-37

‘Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household. He that loveth father or mother more than me is not worthy of me: and he that loveth son or daughter more than me is not worthy of me'.

Ephesians 6:11-17

‘Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God').

Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart'

The Outreach

Our main text reference in outreach, missions, and literature, is based upon Mark 16:15-18, "And Jesus said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover."

Aligning ourselves with this Scripture, known to many as "the great commission", we have many Gospel tracts, DVDs, tapes, and CDs available for free distribution upon request. Request some today, we distribute many weekly. We receive a large flow of feedback concerning these materials, especially from Africa.

Another ministry we’ve been involved for over 8 years now, is distributing free anointed prayer cloths. In reference to these, we have received numerous accounts of healings and miracles from all around the world.

Many different ACMTC soldiers in their own localities have put up our teaching videos on television all across the United States and other nations, including parts of Africa. We also have many videos available at our Youtube under our name, Shimrana" <ref> ACMTC's Youtube Catalog. http://www.youtube.com/user/shimrana </ref> and here on our website. There has been a soar in views on Tom Briggs’ Youtube of our videos that he edited. You may view them under his name, “Overboardbriggs”. <ref>Tom Brigg's Youtube Catalog. http://www.youtube.com/user/overboardbriggs </ref> We also have an immense library here on the internet with testimonies, articles, and teachings.

Many Words of the Spirit and Acts of the Spirit are available to listen to at our podcast site.[http://www.wospodcast.aggressivechristianity.net/]

Another ministry we’ve been involved in for over 16 years now is a personal outreach evangelism among the Native Americans in Gallup; the cultural Indian mecca of the United States. We have an external evangelism outpost where we pray for ‘salvation, healing, and deliverance' for many people weekly.

Some previous overseas missions works are shown on one of our most popular videos entitled "Operation Mobilization", showing footage of India, the Philippines, and Nepal, where we distributed lots of literature and prayed for salvation with many. <ref> ACMTC Missions Video. Operation Mobilization. http://www.aggressivechristianity.net/articles/video/flowplayer/Operation%20Mobilization.html </ref> We have also been involved in numerous mission works in Africa, sadly, even losing Brad Rankin, (a member) there to Malaria.

What we believe about demons and deliverance:

ACMTC has never believed, or does believe now, that a Christian can be possessed by a demon, but rather that Christians may have dwelling in their physical body, one or more demons, in the spirit realm, at the same time. It is the Christian's responsibility to drive them out. The basis for our deliverance beliefs are: Jesus cast out Devils (Luke 11:20, 13:32 etc.), Jesus' disciples cast out Devils (Luke 9:1, 10:17), Jesus commands His Disciples to cast out Devils (Matthew 10:8, Mark 16:17)"

One of the most opposed Scriptures that we believe in is, 1st Corinthians 6:9-10:

“Do you not know that the unrighteous and the wrongdoers will not inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived (misled): neither the impure and immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who participate in homosexuality, nor cheats (swindlers and thieves), nor GREEDY GRASPERS,(LIKE SUING ANOTHER CHRISTIAN FOR 20 MILLION DOLLARS!) nor drunkards, nor foulmouthed revilers and SLANDERERS, nor EXTORTIONERS and ROBBERS will inherit or have any share in the kingdom of God.”
